One thing for sure he is the lickiest guy to get that huge amount where his company is worth that $1 billion or not.
The money doesn’t all go to one guy, but everyone at Instagram is indeed getting a very large payout.

Possibly through advertising, or maybe adding premium features to their platform, ie. addons, extra storage, etc.
I think is just a business fact.
I dont know what Zukerburg was thinking but considering the IPO disaster people should have smelled something funky.
